Yes! All of our gifts are available for pick up. Simply select this option during checkout.  Pick Ups are available 12:00pm-4:00pm the day indicated during checkout. If you need an earlier or more specific time, please call us: 858-909-0066.

We offer next day local-hand delivery as well as multiple expedited options via FedEx. These options are shown during check-out. We offer additional same day and rush hand-delivery options that are not available online. Please contact us to discuss your rush delivery needs. 858-909-0066

Yes, we provide hand delivery Monday thru Friday throughout Southern California.  For all hand delivery information, please visit our hand-delivery page. 

Orders will ship according to the date you select during checkout. Unless a later delivery date has been selected, all orders received before 5pm pacific coast time ship the next business day. Orders received on Friday, Saturday or Sunday ship the following Monday. Orders do not ship on weekends or Federal Holidays.

FEDEX: For orders shipping via FedEx, the earliest possible delivery dates are shown. If you want your gift delivered on a later date, select the date using the delivery calendar. If the date you want isn’t available on the Delivery Calendar there may be several reasons why. For example, FedEx Ground does not deliver to residential addresses on Sunday or Monday and does not deliver to business addresses on Saturday or Sunday. 

LOCAL HAND-DELIVERY: For online orders utilizing our local hand-delivery service, the earliest possible dates are shown. If you want your gift delivered on a later date, select the date using the delivery calendar. We also have same day and rush deliveries for Southern California. Please contact us to discuss these options. 

Yes, you can send everything in your shopping cart to one location. Simply select “Send to One Address” during checkout.

Yes, our checkout allows you to send each gift in your shopping cart to a different address. Shipping options and delivery dates are listed separately for each gift.

FedEx Residential/Home Delivery is only available Tuesday thru Saturday. However, if your gift must arrive on a Monday, contact us, we may be able to arrange a Monday home delivery using a FedEx Express Service. We also offer Monday delivery options via our Local Hand-Delivery service if your delivery is within Southern California. 

FedEx and our local delivery service will only deliver to commercial addresses Monday through Friday.

Saturday home delivery is available via FedEx Ground only. Our local delivery services are not available on the weekend. Use the Delivery Calendar to select the earliest available Saturday.

When your order is shipped via FEDEX, you will receive an email with tracking information. You can also log in to your Pleasant Surprises account to obtain the order details and tracking. If your order is sent with our LOCAL HAND-DELIVERY service, you will receive an email once your order has been delivered. 

Sometimes we need to contact the recipient to arrange delivery. We will only contact the recipient if it is absolutely necessary to ensure safe delivery of your gift.

The sender’s information is not on the outside of the box. The only place the senders name appears is on the gift card message.

Because your order is sent as a gift, we do not include a receipt in the box. Receipts are sent by email to the purchaser.

No, we do not offer international shipping services.

Orders shipping to Alaska and Hawaii must be placed over the phone. Special FedEx shipping charges apply. Orders can be placed by calling 858-909-0066 between 9am and 4pm (Pacific).

We can ship to any military base that receives FedEx shipments. We do not hand deliver to military bases. 

Yes, you can use the same card message for all your gifts by entering a card message for the first gift and then clicking "copy first message to all items". You can then edit each card message individually as needed. You can use the same ribbon message for all your gifts by entering a ribbon message for the first gift and then clicking COPY under ribbon message text box. You can then edit each ribbon message individually as needed.

During warmer summer months, we use our discretion to substitute meltable chocolate items with equally delicious non-chocolate items of equal or greater value.

Our gifts are made to order on an individual basis. Although it is a top priority for us to keep all products in stock at all times, availabilty of some gourmet items and containers can change from time to time. When this happens, we take great care in making substitutions that are of equalivalent or higher quality and value.
