Here are answers to your most frequently asked questions . . .
How do I place an order?
To place an order click on PLACE AN ORDER here or any place those three words appear on the site, or simply phone us at 800/363-5277 and we'll be happy to take your order. The best time to reach us is during our business hours, Monday through Friday, 10am-6pm Pacific time.
How do I know you’ve received my order?
You will receive a confirmation call or email within 24 hours of placing your order. Orders placed on weekends or after normal business hours will be processed the next business day. If you haven't heard from us in 24 hours, please call us to confirm that we received your order.
How do I know the gift has been sent?
We will have FedEx email you the tracking information on your gift directly-that way you always know when the gift has shipped, where it is and when it was received. In addition, after each order is sent, a follow-up email is sent to the person who placed the order to make sure the gift has been well-received.
If, for any reason, the sender has not heard back from the recipient, we will happily place a "quality control" call to the gift recipient to ensure that the gift arrived in good order and was enjoyed.
What are the shipping costs?
Packages are shipped via FedEx Priority Overnight, Standard Overnight, 2Day, Express Saver (third business day), Ground or Home Delivery. Shipping charges are not included in the cost of the gift and are based on the size and weight of the parcel, where it's going, and how quickly it needs to get there.
Can I use my own FedEx account number?
If you are ordering on behalf of a company and would like shipping costs billed directly to your account, we are happy to do so.
Can I mix and match products to make up my own gift basket?
Yes, because each gift is made to order. All of our gifts can be customized to fit most any budget and occasion.
Will the gifts look just like they do on the website?
Photos on the website illustrate our hand-delivered presentation. For shipped packages, each of the glass or fragile items is bubble wrapped and then placed inside a basket or gift box. In addition to a beautiful presentation, you have the pleasure of knowing that everything will arrive safely and in good order.
Although we try to keep all products in stock at all times, orders are subject to availability of products. We reserve the right to make substitutions of equal or better value.
Can I send wine/champagne or beer everywhere?
Wine, champagne and beer are shipped as allowable by law. Please
contact us for further details.
Do you guarantee your work?
If a Pleasant Surprise doesn’t delight either the sender or recipient,
the gift can be returned for a prompt replacement gift, exchange
or refund.
