  1. I need a gift delivered on a specific date. Can you do that?
    Many of our customers purchase gifts for anniversaries, birthdays and other special occasions. And, understandably want their gift delivered on a specific date. In most cases we can make it happen. The default shipping dates listed in our shopping cart are the earliest possible dates your gifts can be delivered. If you want your gift delivered on a later date, select the date using our Delivery Calendar. If the date you want isn’t available on the Delivery Calendar there may be several reasons why. For example, FedEx Ground does not deliver to residential addresses on Sunday or Monday. In addition, FedEx Ground does not deliver to business addresses on Saturday or Sunday. If the delivery date you want isn’t available, call us; we may be able to select a FedEx Express Shipping method that will get your gift to its location on the date you require.

  2. What about shipping a gift basket in hot weather?
    The best way to avoid damage caused by hot weather is for you to place your order on a Friday, Saturday, Sunday, or Monday so that your gift ships on a Monday or Tuesday and avoids weekend layovers in hot warehouses.  You can also select an overnight shipping option which will ensure your gift arrives fresh.

    We also take several precautions when shipping gift baskets in hot weather including adding ice packets are no additional charge and substituting some chocolate items with equally delicious non chocolate items of equal or great value.

  3. Why can’t I schedule home delivery for a Monday Using FedEx Ground?
    Unfortunately, FedEx Home Delivery is only available Tuesday thru Saturday. However, if your gift must arrive on a Monday, call us, we may be able to arrange a Monday home delivery using a FedEx Express Service. We are available by phone at 1-800-363-5277 Monday thru Friday from 9AM to 5PM Pacific Coast Time. After hours, send us an email and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

  4. Can I send a gift to Alaska or Hawaii?
    It is cost prohibitive to offer $5 flat rate shipping to Alaska and Hawaii so these orders cannot be placed online.  We would be happy to take your order over the phone however you will have to pay standard FedEx shipping charges.  Orders can be placed by calling 800-363-5277 between 9am and 5pm (Pacific)..

  5. Can I use the same Card and Ribbon Message for each gift?
    You can use the same card message for all your gifts by entering a card message for the first gift and then clicking COPY under card message text box. You can then edit each card message individually. You can use the same ribbon message for all your gifts by entering a ribbon message for the first gift and then clicking COPY under ribbon message text box. You can then edit each ribbon message individually.

  6. Why can’t I schedule a different delivery date for FedEx Express services?
    Most of our customers want gifts delivered as soon as possible. The default delivery dates shown for the various FedEx shipping methods reflect that, and are the earliest possible dates your gifts can be delivered. However, you may select a later delivery date by using our pop up Delivery Calendar. The calendar is for FedEx Ground delivery dates only - we assume if you are scheduling later delivery you’ll have the time and will want the least expensive shipping method. If the specific delivery date you desire is not available on the FedEx Ground Delivery Calendar, give us a call, we may be able arrange delivery on the date you require using a FedEX Express Shipping option.

  7. When will my order ship?

    Unless a later delivery date has been selected, all orders received before 5pm Pacific Coast Time ship the next business day. Orders received on Friday, Saturday or Sunday ship the following Monday. Orders do not ship on weekends or Federal Holidays. Orders placed on Saturday or Sunday will ship Monday, unless it’s a Federal Holiday, or you have selected a later delivery date.

  8. Can I schedule a weekend delivery to a business?
    Unfortunately, FedEx only delivers to commercial addresses Monday thru Friday.

  9. Can I schedule a weekend Delivery to a residence?
    Saturday home delivery is available via FedEx Ground. Use the Delivery Calendar to select the earliest available Saturday.

  10. Do you offer Hand Delivery?
    Yes, we provide hand delivery Monday thru Friday within the greater San Diego area. If your gift is eligible for hand delivery, that option will be shown (along with our FedEx shipping choices) during checkout. The default hand Delivery Date is the soonest your gift can be Hand Delivered. However, you can choose a later date using the Hand Delivery Date pop up calendar. We deliver to San Diego businesses, residences, hotels, and some military bases. Gifts are delivered the next business day unless a later delivery date is selected. Please include any specific delivery instructions in the comment section during checkout.

  11. Do you offer same day Hand Delivery?
    In some cases we can Hand Deliver gifts same day to select zip codes in the greater San Diego area. Please call us at 1-800-363-5277 or 1-619-299-4438 before ordering to check available. There is no additional charge for same day delivery, and we will do everything possible to deliver your gift the same day.

  12. Can you ship overnight?
    Yes, we offer a FedEx Express overnight shipping options during checkout. Overnight delivery is only available for next business day. Overnight Saturday delivery is not available.

  13. Can I pick up my gift basket from your San Diego studio?
    Yes, you may pick up your gift baskets at our San Diego Studio. Orders for pickup must be placed by phone by calling 800-363-5277 or 619-299-4438. We are located in Mission Hills at 325 W Washington Street, San Diego CA 92020 (map )

  15. Can I send gift baskets to different locations?
    Yes, our checkout allows you to send each gift basket in your shopping cart to a different address. Shipping options and delivery dates are listed for each gift basket separately.

  16. Can I send multiple gift baskets to one location?
    Yes, you can send everything in your shopping cart to one location. During checkout, simply select “Ship All Gifts to One Location” at the top of the Shipping Information page.

  17. Why do you need the recipient’s phone number?
    Sometimes we need to contact the recipient to arrange delivery. We will only contact the recipient if absolutely necessary to ensure safe delivery of your gift.

  18. Will the senders name be on the outside of the box?
    If the gift is shipped, the sender’s information is not on the outside of the box. The only place the senders name appears in on the gift card message.

  19. Will there be a receipt in the box with the gift basket?
    Because gift baskets are sent as gifts, we do not include a receipt in the box. Receipts are sent by email to the purchaser.

  20. Do you ship to military bases?
    We can ship to any Military base that receives FedEx shipments. We can hand deliver to select Military bases in the San Diego area. Please call 800-363-5277 or 619-299-4438 for details.

  21. Do you ship internationally?
    Yes, we do ship internationally. International shipping costs are expensive, often 2 or 3 times the cost of the gift basket. Please call 800-363-5277 or 619-299-4438 to place an international order.
